Tulip Logo Design
Tulip PA was a startup business, offering virtual assistant services to busy mumpreneurs.
My brief was to create a simple and elegant logo. It should ideally convey the idea of admin/office type services, combined with a tulip, to reflect the business name. That’s totally the kind of challenge I like!
I explored various options and in a serendipitous moment realised that 2 paperclips, set at an angle, would be the perfect fit. That gave us a subtle flower and a classic, instantly recognisable piece of office stationery.
The icon was teamed with a script font and a bold colour palette based around teal and gold. This gave a soft feminine feel to appeal to the target market of busy working mums, without going overboard on girliness.
Sadly, due to a change in the client’s circumstances, the business and therefore the rest of the project, isn’t going ahead. But we did also start working on other branded items. Business cards and social media graphics were created, such as this Facebook cover template:
