I’ve been making some changes to my website lately to try out some new ideas, tidy things up and, hopefully, make it a nicer place for you to hang out.
One change you really need to know about is that I’m not using Feedburner for my RSS feed anymore.
An RSS feed let’s you keep up to date with your favourite website without actually visiting the site; instead you can read the updates through an RSS reader or by email. And Feedburner is Google’s RSS feed management service that many blogs use because it offers ways to optimise your site’s feed, statistics about your subscribers and it enabled people to subscribe by email.
However, over the last few years, people using Feedburner have experienced many bugs and Google are no longer updating the service – in fact, there are rumours that at some point it may be shut down altogether. So more and more bloggers are looking for alternatives.
Update your subscription
If you’ve subscribed to this blog by RSS you’ll need to update your feed to make sure you continue to receive posts. The new address is
You should be able to make the update from whichever feed reader you’re using (Feedly, Flipbook etc).
If you subscribed to get updates by email you don’t need to do anything. I’ve moved the email subscriptions over to my ConvertKit account, so you should continue to get updates. The emails you get will look different though (hopefully better!). Each email will give you the option to manage your subscription or unsubscribe if you want.
If you’d like to subscribe to email updates you can fill out the form below. Each week you’ll get a new post or an exclusive branding or web tip delivered straight to your inbox.
