I’m a big fan of working smarter, not harder. And making use of scheduling and automation tools, and well, anything that’s going to make life that little bit easier, has got to be included in that.
Recently I shared my favourite tools for saving time with social media marketing, including ones for scheduling tweets and pins. But when it comes to Facebook, you don’t actually need to use a separate app. It’s super easy to schedule posts, right within Facebook itself.

How to schedule posts in Facebook:
1. Create your post as normal, then instead of clicking ‘Publish’, click the down arrow and choose ‘Schedule’.
2. Set the date and time you’d like your post to go live. It needs to be at least 10 minutes from now. Click on ‘Schedule’.
It’s as easy as that!
And if you need to see or edit your scheduled posts, just click on ‘Publishing Tools’ at the top of your page, then ‘Scheduled Posts’ from the options on the left. You can edit, reschedule and delete your scheduled posts, plus create new ones.
To make changes, check the box beside the post you want to edit, then click on ‘Actions’ at the top to see the available options.
Creating a batch of scheduled posts is a great time-saver, so you can make the most of your time and get more done. And for more time-saving social media tools, be sure to check out this post!
