Phantom of the Opera

Project: This book cover for The Phantom of the Opera was designed in part of a series of 3 Victorian gothic horror novel covers.
The main image was created from a photo I had of a gothic style building in Paris. The photo was duplicated, reversed, and stitched together in Photoshop, and a layer of water was added to allude to the cellars of the opera house.
The text was set in Freehand and the rest of the artwork was created in Photoshop. The texture on the back cover shot was a stock photograph, and the rest of the images are my own.
