Back in October, I posted a couple of sketches for Alex’s Christmas present, a series of paintings of jungle animals.

After a mad rush pre-Christmas to get them finished, here are the final paintings, which are now hanging in his bedroom. They are acrylic paint on box canvases, measuring about 10″ square. As he’s only 2 years old, I didn’t get much feedback from him, but his parents are certainly pleased with them!

There’s snow on the ground, The Snowman is on TV and later there’ll be chestnuts roasting – it must be Christmas!

2009 has been a busy year which meant that I neglected my website for a long time, but I did finally install WordPress and get started with the blog. Since you’re here reading this article, I guess that has been a success. Read more…
